  • Are there any security deposits?

    Yes.


    When renting a car, Jeep, or van you will be subject to a $650 Security Deposit hold at the time of vehicle pickup. 



    Any damage that might occur will either be taken from the security deposit or applied against the credit/debit card on file. 



    Any damage above $650 will be billed against the credit card up to the deductible amount of your auto insurance and anything additional will be placed against your auto insurance policy.


    *Supplemental Coverages are available as well that can lower the deposit amount.

  • Are there any taxes?

    Yes.


    When booking, insurance, taxes, and any additional fees are added to the rental price.


  • How does it work?

    Simple! Pick a Jeep, pay for the rental, show proof of insurance and enjoy your time in Destin!

  • How many miles do I get with my rental?

    Unlimited.


    There's no mileage limit, but you'll need to stay within a 100-mile radius of your pickup location. Heading further? Give us a call — we might grant an exception, because we're locals, not Enterprise.

  • Is there a military discount?

    No Discounts Necessary.


    we believe everyone should have a Jeep experience, so we offer the best rates on Jeep, car, and van rentals in the area. Compare us against the competition: even with their "discounted" rates, we'll beat them every time, with no surprise add-ons at checkout.


  • What is the refund policy?

    We offer a 100% refund for any rental cancelled more than 7 days before the activity. Between 7 days and 48 hours out, there's a 15% cancellation fee. Within 48 hours, there are no refunds — unrefunded costs can be applied to a future reservation within 24 months


    *Drivers who appear intoxicated, hungover, or unfit to drive will be transferred to a safer time slot based on availability, at our discretion, with no refund.




  • Any additional or hidden fees?

    Nope.


    We absorb all processing and company-related fees, with the exception of delivery fees and our Supplemental Insurance Coverage options. 


    All fees are clearly identified before booking — no surprise markups like some other rental companies.

  • Do we have group discounts?

    Yes.


    We have both group and corporate event packages available for reservations of 6 rentals or more. Please call us for more information.

  • Is there an age requirement to rent a Jeep?

    You must be 21+ to rent a Jeep, however there will be a young driver fee for anyone under 25.

  • Do I need a driver’s license?

    Yes, a valid driver's license is required, and it can't be suspended or revoked.


  • Are there penalties for late returns?

    Yes.


    returning late results in a $250 late fee plus a proration amount.


  • Are there speed restrictions or governors?

    No, but you're required to follow all state and federal laws, and we encourage responsible driving.


  • Do you have hourly Jeep rentals?

    The daily rate kicks in at 4 hours — but honestly, who wants a Jeep for just a couple hours? 

    Book at least a full day for the best experience. Maximum rental period is 30 days; need longer?  Give us a call!


  • Can I book a Jeep for someone else?

    Reservations need to match the name on the payment card, but you can add additional drivers.


  • Can I book online?

    Of course!


    Our website uses a secure and encrypted online booking system.


  • Can I pay with cash?

    Reserving in advance requires full payment upfront, plus a credit card on file for any damages or fines.

  • Do you accept prepaid debit cards/gift cards?

    No.


    Payment cards must have a chip and be attached to a bank account matching the name on your rental agreement.


  • Do you accept walk-ins?

    Yes.


    Although, Jeeps are generally booked weeks in advance.

  • How early should I show up?

    Arrive 10 minutes before your rental start time — don't worry if you're running a little late, we'll hold it for you.

  • Do you offer airport pickup or drop-off?

    Yes. We offer pickup and delivery at Destin-Fort Walton Beach Airport (VPS), Pensacola International Airport (PNS), Northwest Florida Beaches International Airport (ECP), and Destin Executive Airport (DTS) for an additional fee.

  • Can I get my rental delivered somewhere other than the airport?

    Yes. We deliver to a custom location — your hotel, condo, or vacation rental — for an additional fee. Just let us know your delivery address when you book.

  • Where is your Jeep rental pickup location?

    Unlimited mileage on all our Jeep rentals, baby! Again, there is NO mileage limit but you must stay within a 100-mile radius of the location you picked up from. Need to drive further away? Give us a call. We might grant an exception because we’re locals, not Enterprise.

  • Do all of your Jeep rentals come with no top and no doors?

    Yes.

  • Does the Florida Man actually work for you? If not, where can we spot him?

    No, he never worked at Jeep Destin but rumor has it he did work for some of our competitors. He can be spotted around Destin, Fort Walton Beach, and Miramar.

    Common sightings involve alligators, poor judgment, and Wal-Mart parking lots. Destin is not his usual habitat, but if you hang around long enough your odds of seeing him definitely increase.

    Pro Tip: check county mugshot releases for where he was last seen the night before. (Just don’t offer him a ride. At least, not in one of our Jeeps.)
